Pitching French Films to Hollywood

We wanted to promote French cinema to a non-French audience who love Hollywood blockbusters. To demonstrate that great films can be made without following tired film formulas, we pitched three French cinematic masterpieces to Hollywood heavyweights who didn’t know they existed. They rejected the pitches, thinking that the ideas wouldn’t make successful films. The sessions were filmed and turned into a series of humorous videos showing the great films Hollywood would never make. We also sent the scripts of iconic French films to renowned Hollywood script consultancies, and just like their director counterparts, they didn’t see any potential in those works.
